Member Requirements to be able to compete at finals and be eligible for awards

Member Work Hour Requirements

5 Hours per contestant (including Buckaroos) by end of rodeo on Sept 14th 2024 -Contestant responsible for getting time recorded and done the day you volunteer

Raffle Tickets and/or Sponsorship Due by May 25th 2024

Raffle Tickets and/OR Sponsorships- Due May 25,2024,Drawing May 26th RodeoIndividual Requirements- $200.00Family Requirements- $350.00Families with 5 or more contestants will be required to sell an additional $50.00 per contestant.Contestants may choose to meet this requirement in one of two ways or a combination of the two. You may sell a sponsorship (sponsorship forms will be available online) or sell raffle tickets. Raffle tickets will be available at the office and are due no later than 5/25 so that they may be included in the drawing that will take place the following day.You are welcome to complete both to help the association raise money for end of the year awards, but to complete your requirements only one is required.LATE SPONSORSHIP FEES MAY BE ACCEPTED WITH A LATE FEE OF $100.00 to be submitted by July 1, approval must be given by Volunteer Coordinator. It is the contestant’s parent’s responsibility to obtain approval for late pay.  

Rodeo Participation Requirement

-Must compete in a minimum of 4 SEYRA rodeos as a member not including the finals

-Must be a SEYRA member and enter in the event a minimum of 4 times during the season to be able to compete in that event at day one of Finals. Then top 15 in event will be eligible to compete in the day 2 short go (Bulls, Calves and Bareback will run both days regardless)

-Contestant must participate in each round of each event they qualified for to be eligible for year-end award

-Year-end ties will be broke by using the average for the 2-day finals, for rough stock ties will be broke by ground time for 2-day finals

End of year awards

-An Event Champion in each age group in each event
-An All-Around Cowboy in each age group
-An All-Around Cowgirl in each age group
-Rookie of the year in each age group
-A Miss Southeastern Youth Rodeo Queen and Princess shall also be crowed at the finals
